The Norte Dame Fire

Incredibly sad for Paris.

The fire of Notre Dame Cathedral is a loss for art, 850 years of history, architecture, beauty, a landmark and an identity.
This place had more connection to history and the art world than it did to religion.
Norte Dame was there for the coronations of kings, it was there as Joan of Arc cried to the heavens.
Napoleon was made emperor here.
It withstood two world wars, a revolution and internal conflict.

Regardless of how one feels about religion, we feel for this loss, for Paris, for France and for all of us.
