Independent Thinking

In the photo below you can see the teacher failed the student’s test.
But take a second look, the answers are 100% correct.
Maybe it wasn’t what the teacher wanted, but the answers are the smallest numbers, it was definitely independent thinking.

We like this kid...

Independent thinking comes from being yourself, trusting your thought process and not being afraid of that independence.
One size doesn’t fit all, we are all different, with different talents and abilities.

Independent and critical thinking enables you to become more discerning about the things you hear, see and believe and helps you question values and assumptions.
Independent thinking also develops your personal skills on many levels, including having confidence in your ability to stand up for your beliefs.

Freedom of Thought

We suppose it's wonderful to have freedom of speech, but how wonderful is it if it is the result of social programming? What's so great about freedom of speech if there’s no freedom of thought?

Freedom of speech is pointless, if speech is not the result of freedom of thought.
We have been mislead into believing that we have freedom of speech by those who work very hard to manipulate us for their own personal benefit, such as politicians, the media, religious dogma, and the economic elite, who will to do anything in order to stay in power.  To keep us uniformed and misinformed, they lie and actually convince people they are free. And as people continue to believe that we are free, the more they stay confined in a prison that we can’t even see — a mental prison with invisible bars.

At the institutions of learning, children are taught to obey orders and without question, follow what they are being told.
They are told to sit for hours, in a classroom,  doing nothing more than memorizing information that for the most part, they will never need in their lives.
School and churches don't teach children how to develop their capacity to think logically so that they can trust their own instincts and reach their own conclusions when presented with information.

On the contrary, children are forced to believe in the things they are being taught, regardless of whether they are true or not, or even if they understand what they are being taught. Hence their critical thinking is prevented from improving, and as a result, children are turned into numb followers.
