Last New Moon of 2020

The countdown to the long-awaited end of 2020 is underway.

As we reflect over 2020 as one of the most difficult years in recent memory, let’s not forget to look ahead.

In doing so, the new year will arrive on Monday, December 14.

The new moon in Sagittarius will occur that day, bringing us some cautious but welcome hope about the future.

The New Moon offers us a time of hope, a time of renewal of our commitments. It brings us a fresh start, to remind us that no matter what’s happened, there is always rebirth waiting on the horizon.

The moon’s energy has the power to control the tides of the ocean and can even impact human behaviors.

This is why the energy of the new moon is regarded as such a highly influential force.

The new moon may be symbolic of many things depending on the culture. However, one thing remains certain, the new moon phase represents a fresh start for those who welcome it as an opportunity to celebrate new beginnings, to embark on life transitions, and to obtain spiritual healing from this moon’s massive positive energy.

A total solar eclipse will take place in the same sign that same day, bringing a promise of future changes with it.

Its path will travel across Chile and Argentina, offering people a glimpse of its totality, though people elsewhere in South America will be able to see a partial eclipse. Whether you can see it or not, this cosmic event will inevitably affect you for the rest of 2020 — and even into 2021.
