In Romania, yes, the same Romania of Dracula, witches were for the most part spared from the medieval witch-hunts of Europe and killed 100,000 women. In fact, witchcraft is alive and well in Romania, it's thriving.
Even politicians fear its power. With hundreds of witches in the country, making and breaking marriages, curing diseases, casting and or releasing people from good and evil spells, even predicting the future. We are told that one in ten Romanians visits a witch.
