The ONR song, “Must Stop” featuring Sarah Barthel of Phantogram is a brilliant track with a message that resonates with a lot of people. It’s an upbeat track but the lyrics contrast that, I must stop falling in love, stop falling in love with everyone who hurts you.
Must Stop’ is a song about being repeatedly hurt, about a lack of self-worth, a desperation to be in love and to be loved by someone, anyone — and the blows you can take when you leave yourself so open.
Sarah Barthel of Phantogram originally agreed to be on the track because she felt that the feeling the song gave so many can relate to it and its meaning. I think it was the universe telling me I have to express my feelings instead of bottling them up,” she says. “From then on ‘Must Stop’ has been my mantra.”
