Smoked Bacon Wrapped Chicken Drumsticks

We’re going to be using our smokers all weekend and here's a recipe we’ll be doing, it’s fast and easy to prepare….and absolutely delicious.
Marinating the drumsticks in the hot sauce, wrapped with bacon then smoked is a wonderful thing.

Total time
Serves: 12 drumsticks
Ingredients
  • ½ cup hot sauce
  • 12 chicken drumsticks, skinless
  • 12 bacon slices
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, toss chicken drumsticks in the hot sauce. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to marinate for 2 hours
  2. Wrap each drumstick with a slice of bacon and place on a smoker rack.
  3. Start up the smoker, using wood of choice and bring up to a temperature of 275F.
  4. Place the chicken drumsticks in the smoker and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165F, about 3 hours will do it.

That’s all there is to it.
