The Benefits of Turmeric

Turmeric, a bright yellow of the spice that has powerful health benefits.

The Chinese and Indian healers have used Turmeric throughout history, as we use it now as an anti-inflammatory agent, flatulence, jaundice, menstrual issues, bloody urine, hemorrhage and toothache.

Turmeric contains a substance known as lipopolysaccharide, which helps stimulate the body’s immune system.

Its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal agents also help strengthen the immune system.

Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent and can be used as an effective disinfectant.

If you have a cut or burn, you can sprinkle turmeric powder on the injury to speed up the healing process.

Turmeric also helps repair damaged skin and may be used to treat psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions.

Turmeric is also a natural liver detoxifier.

The liver detoxifies the blood through the production of enzymes and turmeric increases production of these enzymes.

These enzymes break down and reduce toxins in the body.

Turmeric also is believed to invigorate and improve blood circulation supporting good liver health.

We know people have used this wonderful spice for back pain because it's a potent anti-inflammatory.

These anti-inflammatory properties in turmeric are great for treating both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis as well.

In addition, turmeric’s antioxidant property destroys free radicals in the body that damage body cells.

Studies have shown that those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis who take turmeric on a regular basis experience much relief from joint pains as well as joint inflammation.

We aren't doctors, but we know what works for us and what's effective for others.

The bottom line is…turmeric has been amazing.

All we are saying, with the health benefits of turmeric, adding this powerful herb to your diet is one of the best things you can do to improve the quality of your life.

You can add turmeric in powder form to curries, stir fried dishes, smoothies, warm milk and even to spicy salad dressings.

Turmeric can be taken in pill form also.

We aren't suggesting a dosage, but we take 800mg daily in capsule form, but that's us, everyone is different.

Do your research and decide what dosage is best for you.

Turmeric and Honey: The Most Powerful Antibiotic

Conventional antibiotics are extremely useful and help people everyday .
But because they are often overused their effectiveness may be compromised.

Now the disclaimer: We Are not medical professionals, so always discuss your health concerns with a medical professional and do not make any changes to your current situation based on something you read on our blog.

There are many natural antibiotics that exist in our world. Honey, turmeric, and garlic are some of the most popular and effective.

Honey is capable of fighting infections without creating antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

A study published in the European Journal of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, found that honey destroyed every bacteria or pathogen they tested it on.
