Faking your way through life, believing that people won't like the real you, pretending to make others happy, including God, parents, coworkers and everyone else is exhausting.
If normal means what everyone else is doing and people everywhere seem miserable, searching for something more, why would anyone want to be considered normal?
The need to be normal seems to us to be an anxiety disorder of sorts, it's intimidation through conformity.
