This was sent to us and we decided to share it with everyone. Even though we realize this is historically true, we don't have a problem with Christians (or any religious group) defining what they will or will not recognize and sanction as marriage, they can do whatever they want.
Our objection is when religion influences government, defining marriage with laws.
