Australian scientists are thinking that a weekly serving will benefit people and keep them sharper as they get older.

Turmeric, is usually found in the more typical yellow curries, it's main active component is curcumin, which we are told, can help prevent everything from Alzheimer's disease to cancer.
Curcumin is believed to block bad proteins called beta amyloid, which clump together and destroy neurons.
It's already known that cases of dementia is not as prevalent in cultures where curry is a regular on the menu.
