Wouldn’t it be great if there was an all-natural way to eliminate plaque or stop it from becoming an issue.
Dental plaque is an invisible substance that hangs out on the teeth when we eat or drink anything.
So, plaque is a combination of food, bacteria and bacterial waste, and it’s usually removed with brushing and flossing the teeth daily.
Without the brushing and flossing, tarter rises it’s ugly head.
Tartar is that hard, mineral build-up.
Left unattended, dental plaque builds up and turns unto tartar.
So, what can we do?
Plaque issues can be dealt with by using natural remedies.
Baking soda and Salt
This is actually recommended by dentists.
By using baking soda and salt, mixed into a paste you can help eliminate plaque.
- Mix together 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1/2 teaspoon of salt into a cup.
- Using a wet toothbrush, dip it into the paste and brush the teeth for a few minutes.
Aloe Vera
Using Aloe Vera has shown to help remove plaque.
With a little Aloe Vera gel on your toothbrush, brush your teeth for a few minutes to keep tartar under
Hydrogen peroxide is powerful and needs to be diluted.
You can create a mouthwash for rinsing and gargling with a hydrogen peroxide mixture once per day once daily.
Mix 3 parts water with 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide solution and use as a mouthwash for 60 seconds every day.
This will help get rid of the plaque and loosen up the tartar.
Apple cider vinegar has several uses, including removing tartar and plaque buildups around our teeth. Once or twice a week, soak your toothbrush in a small cup of apple cider vinegar and brush your teeth. White vinegar can also be use.
The mixture should be made from two tablespoons of white vinegar into a cup of warm water with dissolved salt. The acetic nature of the white vinegar means that this method is very effective in killing unwanted bacteria and preventing infection.
Then of course, Brush regularly and do a good job brushing.
Brush all of your teeth, even the hard to reach ones in the back.
Remember the flossing—once a day at the very least.
Drinking water after you eat helps wash out any food left inside you mouth.
