Here’s some advice from Seraphim of Sarov (Serafím Saróvskij), Russian monk and Mystic (1754-1833)
Drink water where the horse drinks. The horse will never drink trouble water.
Place your bed where the cat sleeps comfortably.
Eat fruit where the worm stops.
Choose the mushrooms that have flies.
Plant a tree where a mole is digging.
Build a house where a snake meets.
Dig a well where birds nest in heat.
Go to bed and get up with the chickens, you'll have a golden perspective for the day.
If you eat more green, you will have strong legs and a sustainable lion heart.
If you often look at the sky, your thoughts will be clear and light.
Prefer silence to the word: silence will come down in your soul and your mind will be relaxed and calm!
So, these are the thoughts of Seraphim of Sarov (Serafím Saróvskij), Russian monk and Mystic.
